TNPSC Group 2A Exam

TNPSC has planned to organize Group 2 Interview and Group 2A Non-interview examination both together from the year of 2019. For both the examination is same but for interview post-selection process alone there is an oral interview test for 40 marks.

Education Qualification(Non Interview Post):
• Candidate should have been obtained by passing the required degree course in the order of studies 10th, HSC, degree.
• For the Personal Clerk posting candidate must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting in both Tamil and English by Higher Grade and also must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand in both Tamil and English by Higher Grade.

• Candidate should attain the minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 30 years for OC, no age limit for DW, BC, BCM, MBC, SC, and ST.

TamilNadu Public Service Commission Group 2 exam is conducted commonly together for both Interview and Non Interview post it has a preliminary examination which contains 200 objective type questions for 300 marks will be conducted for 3 hours of duration. In these 175 questions will be asked from General Studies (General Science, History, Geography, Polity, Economics and Current affairs, Indian National Movement, History, Culture, Heritage and Socio-Political Movements in Tamil Nadu, Development Administration in Tamil Nadu ), 25 Aptitude & Mental Ability questions and Main Written Examination with Descriptive type of question with two separate papers. Paper-I for 100 marks and Paper II for 300 marks.candidates who do not secure minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I will not be considered for the evaluation of Paper-II. Only the marks obtained in Paper-II alone will be considered for the selection process.
